1. Who we are
SynqTune is an early-stage software project operated from India and not yet a registered company. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use synqtune.com and the SynqTune app. Contact us about privacy at support@synqtune.com.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number.
- Your AWS connection: your AWS account ID and the IAM role SynqTune uses. Never AWS access keys.
- How you use SynqTune: pipeline settings, run status, training metrics and logs, and evaluation results as scores and counts. The example inputs and answers in the comparison report stay in your AWS account's bucket; your browser reads them from there through a short-lived link when you open them, and we don't store them.
- Where your saved LLM provider keys are: the keys themselves are kept in your own AWS account's Parameter Store, encrypted with that account's KMS key; we store only their location (the parameter ARN). SynqTune's role in your account can save and delete those keys but can't read them; only the instances that run your pipelines can. Keys saved before October 31, 2026 stay encrypted with AWS KMS on our side until their next run moves them into your account.
- Feedback: what you send through the app or the public feedback page, with the email address you give and the page you sent it from.
What we don't collect: your training data, prepared datasets and trained models stay in your own S3 bucket and are processed in your AWS account. We don't copy them to our servers. If your data contains personal information, you decide how it is handled in your own account, and the Map columns step can remove common personal details before training.
3. Why we use it
- to create your account, sign you in and keep it secure;
- to run your pipelines in your AWS account and show you their progress and results;
- to reply to your questions and feedback, and improve SynqTune;
- to tell you about important changes, such as to these policies or to pricing.
6. Where it is stored
Our database is hosted in Singapore, and our other providers may process information in other countries. Your own training data stays in your AWS account: in your S3 bucket, in the region where you created the SynqTune stack, and on the instances that process it, which currently run in AWS's us-east-1 region.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. If you ask us to close your account, we delete what we store about you within 30 days, except anything we must keep by law. Feedback sent without an account is kept until you ask us to delete it.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to our use of it at any time. You can also raise a complaint with us. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and escalate a complaint to the Data Protection Board of India if we don't resolve it.
To do any of this, email support@synqtune.com. We will reply within 30 days.
9. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, keeping saved provider keys in your own AWS account where we can't read them, a role in your account that can use only SynqTune's own bucket and instances, and access controls that keep each organization's data separate. The Security and AWS permissions page lists everything that role can do. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Children
SynqTune is a tool for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a significant way, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. See also our Terms of Use.
